Untethered
Untethered chargers, do not come with a cable attached to the unit. Meaning you will need to use a separate cable to charge.
Tethered
Tethered chargers, come with a cable attached to the unit which cannot be detached. The cable has a Type 2 plug attached which has become the worldwide industry standard. Please check your vehicles charging port before choosing this option.
In the Wall
In the wall design includes our patent-pending recessed design ensures that the charge point only protrudes 52mm from the wall of any home and only takes the space of 3 standard house bricks.
On the Wall
On the wall design sits away from your wall.
Single Phase
Typically used in residential and light commercial applications. It utilises a standard 240-volt power supply for speeds up to 7.4 kW.
Three Phase
Commonly used in industrial and commercial applications due to its ability to deliver more power compared to single-phase systems. It utilises 3 incoming 230 volts supply to give a total voltage of 415 volts for a charging speed usually up to 22kW.
7.4kW, 15m Cable, Standard Installation
Upon confirming your order, you will be connected with one of our trusted preferred partners. You will receive a link to complete an online remote survey, where you'll provide necessary information about your property and the planned installation. As per industry standards, this will include uploading photographs of your property and electricity meter etc. We recommend carrying out the remote survey using a mobile device/tablet for ease.
Based on the details you submit in the survey, our team will determine whether your installation qualifies as a standard installation. If additional work is required beyond the standard installation, you will receive a quote for the extra services.
Shipping
All charge points are typically shipped within 3 working days. Your charge point will either be sent directly to your provided shipping address or to the installer, who will bring it along for the scheduled installation.
What's Included in a Standard On-Wall Installation?
- Remote Property Survey: Conducted based on the images and information you provide.
- Cabling: Up to 10 meters of 6mm SWA cable, securely clipped to a wall. This includes all necessary glands, fixings, and cleats.
- Mains Connection: Direct connection to your mains incoming electrical supply.
- Isolator Switch: Installation of one isolator switch.
- Cable Routing: Drilling of one 500mm x 18mm hole for cable routing.
- Onsite Labor: Up to 5 hours of labour for installation.
- Plastic Conduit: Up to 5 meters of plastic conduit (containment) with all required fixings.
- Protective Devices: Installation of RCBO, RCD, and MCBs as needed.
- Testing and Commissioning: Full testing and commissioning of the charger, including a demonstration of the equipment and app to the client.
Additional Information
- In-Wall Chargers: All in-wall charger installations require a full survey to assess the appropriate hole location and wall material. Prices start from £425, including VAT, for a fully installed unit.
- Surge Protection Device (SPD): If an additional surge protection device (SPD) is required beyond the built-in surge protection, this will be quoted separately, starting from £75 including VAT.
