How Stevie Installation Works
Check out our guide to getting your Stevie installed.
What to Expect
Before Installation Day
1. Complete a home eligibility survey
To get started, an installer will ask you to complete a home eligibility survey. This survey requires you to provide details that will help the installer determine whether you need a standard or custom installation.
Note: A standard surface-mounted (on-wall) installation includes 10 meters of cable, which meets the needs of most customers. However, recessed (in-wall) chargers and certain homes with specific requirements will need a custom installation.
This survey will not take up much of your time—about 20 minutes on average. The installer needs to understand more about your home, energy usage, and installation preferences. We recommend starting this survey on your phone or tablet, as you may be asked to take photos of your home and parking area.
2. Buy your Stevie Charger
After completing your survey, the installer will have a clear understanding of your needs and will provide a comprehensive quote for your Stevie charger and installation. This quote will include any additional costs if a custom installation is required.
3. Schedule your installation date
Once you receive the full quote from our partner, they will contact you via phone or email to schedule a convenient date for your installation.
Installation Day
1. Your Stevie Installer will arrive at your property with your charger
On the day of your installation, your Stevie installer will arrive at your property with your charger. To ensure a smooth process, please clear the area where the charger will be installed and around the distribution board/electricity supply meter, as the installer will need clear access to run cables. Make sure someone is home when the installer arrives to ensure your charger is fitted in the desired location.
Keep in mind that each installation is unique depending on the location and charger chosen, but standard installations usually take around 4 hours to complete. Your installer will provide an estimated time on the day.
2. Handover
Once the installation is complete, the installer will conduct a handover session for your Stevie charger. This will include:
- Helping you sign up for Monta
- Demonstrating how to start and stop a charge
- Checking that your RFID works
- Refitting the fascia panel
- Advising on how to clean the charger
- Providing the installation manual, user guide, and fascia removal tool
This session will help you feel comfortable with your charger and provide an opportunity to ask any questions before the installer leaves.
3. You are fully installed!
After the installation and handover, your installer will leave. However, if you ever have any questions regarding your charger, your installer will be happy to help.
After Installation Day

Enjoy the peace of mind that comes with having the charge you need to power your journey.
